Bonjour,
Can someone tell why diesel engine have oil seal on the valve stem 0956.01 but the cv8 have no oil seal?
Oil from the stem can enter the combustion chamber...
Also, what is the job of essence cv8 0954.02? Why diesel do not have that?
Merci.

Hello,
Of the 1190 first gasoline vehicles were mounted cups 0954.02.
As long as the clearance is respected between valves and guides (between 0.02mm and 0.06mm for the intake and 0.04mm and 0.08mm for the exhaust), there will not be too much oil will pass through the intake and exhaust ducts. If these games are more important, to avoid replacing guides and valves we can opt for a Perfect Circle assembly after modification of the guides, see attached document.

In the case of diesel, there is less vacuum in the intake manifold due to the absence of throttle and the rubber seals are sufficient.
